Additionally, the 10% - 20% cost increase in monthly mortgage payments over conventional construction
to achieve zero-net energy is almost, if not completely, offset by the savings in energy costs, thus,
these homes are nearly cost neutral.

"David Toder is a great architect to work with.  I am a builder and developer who has worked with 7-10 different
architects.  David is the only one I can tolerate.  He will listen and do what I ask if it is possible, and he will tell me
why if it is not possible.  David will do the research to make his clients' desires become reality.  He will always defer
to clients' desires over his own feelings.  If I had known David when I built my own house I would have the house
I wanted.  I am a zero energy builder and when I switched architects and found David, he had never designed
a zero energy house before.  David made the effort to learn everything he could from me and other sources.
David constantly searches for ways to improve himself as an architect.  I recommend David to
everyone I build for since he is fair and will not blow the budget."- Anthony Aebi
